Planning, implementation and reporting of internal audits including derivation of feasible measures: risk-based audit planning and implementation Review and improvement of business processes with regard to regularity, economic viability and compliance with internal and external requirements Creating test reports Systemic follow-up of the implementation of recommendations and implementation of effectiveness tests

Monitoring of external audits (e.g. by the NRW State Audit Office) Participation in the development of improved testing methods and the implementation of digital testing methods Development of internal control systems and the organisational and strategic orientation of the Internal Audit Office Preventive consulting of the specialist departments from a revision perspective in process design, projects and organizational changes Representation of Head of Internal Audit

Completed academic studies (Master / Dipl.-Ing.) of economics, health economics, law or comparable university studies (Bachelor / Dipl.-Ing. FH) or equivalent skills and experience Multiannual professional experience in the field of audit, ideal in the healthcare sector, desirable knowledge of DIIR standards, ideally appropriate certification Knowledge of governance, compliance and risk management systems desirable Knowledge of the guidelines and laws to be applied in the different areas of a university clinic is desirable (e.g. knowledge of the GDPR, the right to collective agreements and awards) Very good MS Office knowledge IT knowledge (SAP, hospital information systems) desirable Embossed business process understanding and mastering audit instruments Strongly pronounced analytical and structured thinking capacity Ability to concise complex facts on a risk-, process- and data-based understanding Reliability, confidentiality, integrity Self-employed, targeted and responsible work Safe communicative appearance at all levels of conversation Ability to work constructively
