Lead & develop: You conduct the field of control and safety technology with the areas of control and information technology, technical control and signal technology independently and align your actions with the values of the KVB. You continuously develop organisation, processes and employees, guide functional goals and ensure operational safety, quality, cost-effectiveness and legal certainty. In addition, you actively shape the strategic orientation of the area and implement optimization initiatives. You are responsible for the overall technical responsibility for planning, construction and maintenance of the plant according to BOStrab, regulatory requirements and internal guidelines. You plan, tax and document inspections, maintenance, annual work plans and projects, check technical innovations and develop the plant, processes and organization to the future. You proactively report special plant states to the operating manager. Personal leadership & culture design: You guide your area in discipline, promote motivation, performance and health of employees and establish clear communication and improvement structures. You accompany the introduction of new working methods and support measures to optimize workflows. Ensure Budget & Quality: You are responsible for economic, investment and personnel planning, develop sustainable renewal strategies, and use control tools for cost accounting. You consistently realize potential savings in property, personnel and external costs. Quality assurance measures as well as work protection, environmental, fire protection and data protection requirements are ensured by you. You support cross-departmental projects, coordinate the trades in large-scale projects of third parties and participate in specialist bodies in the local transport industry.

Qualification: You have completed your studies in the field of electronic or communications technology or in engineering. Expertise & know-how: You have gained several years of professional experience in the field of control and safety technology for railways as well as several years of disciplinary leadership experience. You have the qualification to/from the manager*in BOStrab or the willingness to acquire it. You bring good English skills. Flexibility & mobility: You own class B's driving licence. Occasional service trips, night and weekend work as well as readiness for call are a welcome change for you. Personality & working methods: You are characterized by an independent, reliable and result-oriented way of working. You can motivate employees and inspire them for your ideas. You're ready to continue training.
