You are responsible for mechatronic and electrotechnical components and systems in the field of high-voltage battery technology for electrically driven trucks and buses - from the concept phase to the standard maturity
You take technical responsibility for electronic and mechatronic components and work closely with interdisciplinary development teams
You ensure compliance with the requirements of cyber security, functional safety and EMC at component and system level
You have a holistic understanding of system architecture and keeps in mind in particular hardware and software interfaces as well as the functions of the components in the overall system
You define and tune component requirements, check technical specifications and conduct suitable test and validation strategies
You work closely with international development and production sites of the TRATON Group and with external suppliers
You represent the interests of your department in interdisciplinary bodies, project voting and reviews

Your qualifications
You have completed your studies as an engineer (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering or electromobility (TU/TH/FH)
You bring several years of experience in the development of high-voltage batteries, battery components or energy and power electronics
You have experience in the integration of hardware and software components as well as in interface management within complex systems
You have well-founded knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), relevant EMC guidelines and cyber security requirements in the automotive environment
You have very good English skills (concern working language) and bring an international readiness to travel
