Consultant SAP System Coordination Purchasing & Logistics (a*)

As a system coordinator (module manager) (a*) you enter and control the SAP module MM for purchasing and logistics. Take the first-level operational support, advise the users, carry out training and ensure a current system and process documentation. Technical requirements from the purchasing and logistics processes are applied in a structured manner, analyze them and develop technical optimization and solution concepts. You coordinate the implementation with IT and other stakeholders. New or changed SAP functions and interfaces accompany you from the technical concept to the planning and execution of tests to acceptance and introduction. The catalogue portal integrated in SAP MM is responsible for technical and develops it together with the participating areas and IT. You will check SAP MM permission applications professionally, participate in their release and develop the authorization concept together with the IT. In your topics, you will see the central technical interface between purchasing, logistics and IT as well as adjacent SAP modules and external service providers that may be used. You participate in projects and working groups for the further development of materials management, take over the management of subprojects and represent the technical interests of purchasing and logistics.

A university degree in a relevant field forms the basis of your profile. Multiannual professional experience in supply chain management – ideally in an industrial or infrastructure company – you are already bringing along. You have well-founded knowledge in the SAP module MM and a good understanding of the processes in purchasing and logistics. Knowledge of adjacent SAP modules and their interfaces are advantageous. Experience in technical system coordination and module responsibility, in requirements management and in the design, implementation and documentation of tests is desirable. Ideally, you have experience in user support, training or professional support of an integrated catalogue system. A strong affinity for IT and digitization issues as well as the willingness to continue developing you professionally and technologically, are the key to you. Analytical thinking, high problem-solving competence and a structured, independent way of working belong to your particular strengths. You also bring a high level of cooperation and team skills and a strong customer orientation towards internal stakeholders.
