For the organizational unit Service we are looking for the next possible appointment for the Hanover or Münster site two Network Engineer (m/w/d).

The Service Department is responsible for managing the 1st and 2nd level incidents of our Carrier Network Infrastructure and for the 1st level incidents of the OSPlus (OSPN) and Managed Service Network Access (MSNA) products for customers of the Sparkassen Financial Group. The responsibility extends to the analysis, processing and control of incident incidents. The task also includes the provision and operation of WAN networks of our customers.

Responsible for the design, deployment and operation of our customers' WAN networks in standard and individual business Supporting the operational operation of our network solutions in 1st and 2nd level support for our customers Support for network migration in mergers of financial institutions Our extensive network infrastructure requires careful management, configuration of different components of manufacturers (Huawei, HPE, Cisco), planning challenging rollouts and migrations Management of cooperation with our customers, infrastructure consulting and our external service providers Support for service recovery in compliance with SLA requirements and control of Incidents in the ticket system

A completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or comparable training as well as min. 2-3 years of professional experience Deep knowledge in switching, routing, TCP/IP, 802.1X, QoS and ideally experience in handling software-defined networking (SDN), network automation or infrastructure as code Certification of a manufacturer (e.g. Cisco CCNA) for enterprise networking Convincing communicative skills and courteous handling to our customers and beyond coordination ability and target orientation Ready to use outside normal working hours as well as participation in readiness and occasional travellers to our sites
