Werkstudent Deals (m/f/d)

Our Deals Strategy Team at Strategy& supports leading companies, private equity companies and their portfolio companies across the industry along the entire transaction cycle – from Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) to topline growth to Value Creation and Post-Merger Integration (PMI). As part of the global PwC network, we bundle our deals expertise “from strategy to execution” and combine strategy, functional excellence and technology to measurable impact. With a focus on investments in future technologies and scalable business models, we work together with our clients: not only productivity, but also speed up the transformation and secure its sustainable competitiveness. You will be part of a diverse team of experts: in business, engineering, natural sciences, financial services, energy and resources, manufacturing, healthcare and strategic advice in the private equity sector. In addition to exciting projects and close cooperation in the international PwC network, regular team events, joint workouts and after-work dinners are waiting for you to ensure cohesion and fun. What you'll do As a working student Deals (w/m/d), you become part of our Deals Strategy team and supports strategic analyses along the entire transaction cycle. You are researching and structuring market and competitive opportunities and risks and supporting modelling to quantify growth potential, synergies and value levers. Together with the project team, you prepare the results in convincing storylines, models and management presentations and ensure the highest quality in analyses, data processing and documentation. In addition, you actively participate in the planning and implementation of projects, support the organisation and coordination of the project process and contribute to the efficient use of resources.

University studies: With excellent services in engineering, economics, mathematics, (economic) computer science, mechanical engineering, (technical) business management or a related subject (min. 4 Bachelor semesters). First practical experience: You already have experiences from corporate consulting and/or well-known companies in the areas of Portfolio Strategy, Private Equity, M&A, Due Diligence, Carve-out, Value Creation and Post-Merger Integration. Strong communication in German and English: You have fun working in the team and presenting results convincingly. Ready to use: You bring an average willingness to use of 20 hours a week. In the semester holidays a maximum of 40 hours per week is possible. Embossed competence in action and methods: Your excellent analytical skills make it easy for you to structure complex issues, identify problems and derive strategic solutions for the greatest challenges of our time. You work safely with the classic analysis tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) and programming skills, as well as openness for modern data analysis and AI tools are a plus.
