With us you shape some of the most prominent public spaces in Kiel. From competition to design planning. From the whole to the detail. From three and a half kilometers of water to the feast, we design a bead chain of new places for flaming, celebration, playing, hanging and swimming. In the city centre we experiment with real laboratories and make new urban spaces from old parking spaces. The pedestrian zone becomes the stage of the city center: with new green, space for festivals and Kiel Week and play for the little ones. And together with the planned city railway, we are redesigning the spaces of the city: From roads and squares, Kiel's future places become: with new mobility, places of encounter and curiosity on new paths in shaping green future spaces. We work interdisciplinary at the interface of urban planning, traffic planning and free space planning together with the best external planners and a professional team from colleagues from numerous offices. And because public space does not allow, discuss and design our projects with collaborative and innovative formats of public participation. We are a broad team of urban planners, architects, free space planners and geographers. We develop our projects together in changing teams. And we are looking for you! With experience in the project development and/or control of important free-space projects, at the interface of free-space traffic and urban planning as well as ideally (first) experience in processes and tools of urban development. Applicants who have completed university studies with a rege study period of at least eight semesters in the field of geography with a deepening in one of the aforementioned disciplines are also taken into account. Experience. At least 3 years of relevant professional experience based on the required pre- and training. Speciality. Basic knowledge of the application of specialist applications (CAD, GIS, ArcGIS) is required – or the willingness to acquire this knowledge in the short term.
