For our location in Friedberg bei Augsburg we are now looking for an import manager (m/w/d) with the focus Zoll & Compliance.

Responsibility for all customs and compliance related topics in the import area Examination, approval and maintenance of customs and import relevant documents and master data Contact person for customs authorities, external customs agents and service providers Ensuring correct customs tariffs, determination of origin and application of preferences Processing of customs requests, receivables and checks Monitoring and implementation of customs changes and innovations

Ensuring a legally compliant, transparent and audit-proof import process Compliance with all relevant legal requirements (e.g. REACH, EUTR/EUDR, GPSR, packaging regulations) Monitoring freight, customs and incidental costs and deriving optimization measures Control and coordination of import processes from international suppliers to delivery in the central warehouse Close cooperation with purchasing, logistics and quality management

Completed commercial training or study in the field of foreign trade, logistics, BWL or supply chain management Multiannual professional experience in the import, customs or compliance environment ideally in the furnishing, furniture or consumer goods industry Very high care, accuracy and sense of responsibility Analytical, Structured and Independent Operation Knowledge of product safety requirements Experience in the further development of import and compliance processes Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Very good Excel knowledge and understanding for ERP systems
