KOMM AN BORD BEI ROSTOCK PORT - as an infrastructure company of the Port of Rostock it is our task to develop the largest port of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania in such a way that it meets the ever-increasing demands of the laden economy and tourism. Network Administrator (m/w/d)

You are responsible for our IT landscape in terms of network hardware and software with a focus on infrastructure services (network management in the LAN, VLAN, WLAN) distributed across 2 locations You are designed to ensure data, operational and failure reliability or responsible for the performant and stable network operation. You fix errors and disturbances in 2nd and 3rd level support in your role When purchasing products and controlling external service providers, you will cooperate with your know-how. In addition, maintain the configuration and administration of network security systems and mechanisms (e.g. firewalls, VPNs, proxy, e-mail security) and act as a leader in implementing network documentation with

proven IT expertise through training/study (MINT or Ing. disciplines) minimum. 2 years of experience in network and security topics (architecture, operation, optimization) well-founded Linux identifiers (e.g. for providing proxy, SMTP services) high confidentiality with network components such as routers, switches, firewalls (b. HPE/ Aruba/ UniFi/ OPNsense) and corresponding layer-3/4 technologies Confidence with network and security solutions (e.g. HPE, GFI, ESET) Confidence with Layer 2 technologies such as MAC-Binding, Port Security, Spanning Tree, Link-Aggregation Experience with e-mail servers, e.g. MS Exchange or comparable technologies German knowledge (at least C2) English knowledge (at least B2) Working independently Team skills
