As a valuable interface to our customer, the Hanover Airport, you support our friendly and competent team as an application manager (m/w/d) in ensuring the operational capability of high-availability airport and communication systems such as the airport firefighting and safety control system, the resource management system and a variety of individual software solutions and interfaces. You are a link and consultant in product care, IT operation and further development. This is one of your tasks: You take on the professional support of selected software and hardware components to ensure flight operation and control the service providers. The recording, processing and solution of inquiries from our customers in 2nd and 3rd level support is in good hands with you. As an application manager, you take the technical analysis of faults in the application, infrastructure and interfaces as well as the qualification of messages. You take care of the routing and tracking of internal and external service providers as well as the release and change management. You understand the requirements of the departments and communicate between customers, internal IT and software suppliers. With your professional expertise, you also support our consultants in customer consulting. The processing of our software documentation and the maintenance of the knowledge database (we use Atlassian Confluence and Jira) completes your activity. No flight operation without you! As part of our quality-proof reputation, you are in a rotating team about 1x a month competent technical contact for our customers. You have a completed training in IT (manufacturer for system integration, IT system electronics or comparable technical training) or a study with first professional experience. You already have experience in server and virtualization technologies (such as VMware or Proxmox). Your work is characterised by a high self-initiative, commitment and motivation as well as networked, solution-oriented thinking and action (hands-on mentality).
