Fully qualified lawyers for consumer protection in the distribution of banking products (m/f/d)

You supervise the distribution of banking products and seize maladministration in the behaviour of credit institutions and credit service providers to consumers You look at the elimination of these maladministrations with clear means. To this end, you will conduct regulatory oversight talks with supervised companies, and, where necessary, you will draft formal arrangements for eliminating defects. You address key issues in the field of banking civil law and contribute to the implementation of new (European) legislative projects. You represent the BaFin in European and international consumer protection bodies

You have reached at least one “satisfactory” in both (state) exams as a full lawyer and ideally have You over several years of relevant professional experience OR You have reached at least one “satisfactory” as a full lawyer in a (state) exam (in the so-called “first examination” counts the result of the public compulsory examination) and have a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience You convince colleagues and externals on the basis of your appraisal handling and your clear approach to the matter You have the digital skills to understand and classify new developments in a digital environment You are open to work in projects or project structures and ideally have experiences in workshop and moderation techniques, agile working methods or even in project management You have very good knowledge of English You fulfil the requirements of § 7 para. 1 Federal Staff Act / § 3 para. 1.1 TvöD-V, in particular, possess the nationality of a Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland and are prepared to enter into a democratic basic order. You agree with an extended safety review pursuant to § 9 SÜG We presume you are ready to do business trips. Service trips can also take several days, but are usually planned.
