Number: MER00043Y3 Be part of the transformation of production-oriented IT solutions in the automotive environment. The automotive industry is undergoing a profound change, characterised by digitalization, electrification and the increasing use of AI solutions. At the IT Center of Competence Production Cars & Powertrain we actively shape this transformation. Our IT solutions support highly automated production processes and form a central basis for modern vehicle and drive technologies. For our team we are looking for a dedicated personality that develops a practical approach for project-wide project management, change monitoring and change adoption in the context of new AI solutions. We offer you Editing a practical master thesis topic with strategic relevance Insight into production-related IT, project portfolio control and AI-related change processes Direct integration into an interdisciplinary team Possibility to let your results flow into real control and decision processes As part of your Master's thesis, you work on a strategically relevant topic with direct reference to innovation management, change management and production-related IT: Conception of a project management dashboard

Analysis of existing project and change landscapes, for example in Jira, Confluence and relevant project information

structuring project status, dependencies, risks, progresses and needs for action across several projects

Development of a change monitoring approach to early detection of risks, dependencies and impacts on cooperation, acceptance and implementation

Considering Change Management and Change Adoption when introducing new AI solutions in the company

Definition of suitable KPIs and indicators, e.g. project progress, change readiness, acceptance, communication needs or escalation risks

Development of a visualization concept for management, control circuits and project teams

Validation of the concept using real project and enterprise data

Possible research question How can a project-wide project management dashboard be designed to make change dependencies, risks and adoption factors transparent and controllable when introducing new AI solutions? The activity can begin from January 2027. The final topics will be discussed with the university, you and us.

Studies in the field of innovation management, business informatics, economic engineering, BWL with technical reference or comparable

Interest in project management, change management, innovation management and digital transformation

First experiences with Jira, Confluence, Power BI or comparable tools of advantage

Analytical thinking, structured working and joy in making complex relationships understandable

Communication strength and interest in cooperation with different stakeholders
