Who are we? Around 18,000 people work in pastoral care, administration and social institutions and educational institutions at the Erzbistum München and Freising. On behalf of the archbishop of Munich and Freising, the Ordinariat of Munich performs the tasks of the diocese administration. The Archdiocese of Munich and Freising operates one of the largest IT networks in Upper Bavaria. For more than 1,200 locations, 90 employees of the IT for the Archdiocese are employed each day to ensure the safe and reliable operation of more than 6,500 clients in a wide variety of topics. The IT-Architektur department is critically configuring the framework of the IT and software architecture, advising the specialist departments and actively engaging in projects. Advise the specialist departments on IT architecture and analyze and evaluate the existing IT architecture Advise basic questions in IT projects on the topics IT and software architecture and IT security architecture Identification of new technologies and trends as well as cost- and safety-conscious testing on their relevance and potential for the IT landscape of the Archdiocese Strategic development of the IT landscape of the Archdiocese and the IT and software architecture for a sustainable development Organisation, planning and management of IT projects and management of employees:in the project context Ensure compliance with safety standards and data protection guidelines in the area in close cooperation with the IT security officer.

completed university studies (Bachelor/Dipl.-FH) of informatics or a comparable completed training as a specialist:with further training and perennial, relevant professional experience Knowledge and experience in request management, project management and test management (preferably with appropriate certifications) as well as in software development and IT infrastructure Knowledge of data protection and IT security pronounced analytical, methodological and conceptual skills Identification with the aims and values of the Catholic Church.
