The Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change (LIB) is one of the major globally connected research museums of the Leibniz community. In addition to excellent research on biodiversity and its change, we are driving the further development of our extensive scientific collections with an international team and state-of-the-art technology. With our exhibition, mediation and communication work at our exhibition venues Museum Koenig Bonn and Museum der Natur Hamburg, we want to inspire nature and bring us with our research topics into current socio-political discussions on species, climate change and the protection of ecosystems. The construction of an integrated natural science museum is planned for the Hamburg site; the research infrastructure is currently being significantly expanded at the Bonn site. We are looking for the next possible time, limited by the law on parttime and fixed-term periods for the duration of 2 years with the aim of determination, a Material handling in the field of controlling / Digital finance (w/m/d) full-time with 39.83 hours/week for administration.

Self-employed development of reporting formats for financial evaluations and statistics Central respondent for the IT programs used in the financial sector and their handling in daily use Participation in the development/updating of financial processes and central respondent (internal and external) for implementation in terms of software-based changes Participation in the creation of planning and quarterly and annual accounts Budget control in coordination with accounting Financial administration of workshops, excursions & scholarships and publicly funded research projects Advising the project managers of third-party funding projects with regard to the planning of the use of funds, re-defence and extension requests Part of the project management team annual inventory

Completed commercial vocational training or a relevant (special education/bachelor) degree or equivalent proven professional qualifications Multiannual professional experience in accounting High affinity for independent handling of application software in the financial sector and persistence in the development of implementations High interest in digital solutions/evaluations and the innovative development of software-based processes Good oral and written communication skills in German and English Teamability, pronounced service orientation and the ability to think beyond your own area Reliable, accurate operation and high numerical affinity Very good Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel)
