As an educatorin a nursery or social pedagogue/social pedagogue in a children's and youth home, you take on a versatile and responsible role. Your main task is to create a loving and supportive environment in which both children and young people are best encouraged and accompanied. In this position you are a contact person and a trustee for the residents. You support them in their everyday lives, help them deal with problems and promote their social, emotional and school development. In addition to individual care, you carry out group activities, organize educational programs and leisure activities and work closely with schools, kitas, therapists and other institutions. Administrative tasks are also part of your everyday life.
