IT Security Engineer / Operational IT Security Coordinator (m/f/d)

You coordinate all the topics relating to operational IT security and work closely with internal specialist departments and technical specialists. For our penetration tests, all threads are collated with you: You plan and control internal and external tests, accompany follow-ups, and you are the central contact person in questions. The responsibility for vulnerability management (e.g. with Tenable/Nessus) is in your hands – from analysis to deriving appropriate measures. As an interface to our Security Operation Center (SOC), you monitor security-relevant events and assist in the evaluation and processing of alarms (e.g. from EDR or virus protection systems). You take the role as a central contact person for operational information security and work closely with the Information Security Officer (ISB). Based on recognised frameworks, you develop operational security requirements and continuously develop operational IT security. You keep up-to-date threats (e.g. BSI messages) and evaluate their relevance to our IT landscape. When introducing new IT systems, you bring your security skills and participate in creating and maintaining security concepts.

Completed IT degree or comparable training with specialization or Qualification in the IT security environment Enthusiasm for the topic of operational IT security You have professional experience in the field of administration or curing of IT infrastructure components (e.g. server or network) incl.
