Coordinator [m|f|d] Data Center Management & Provider Control

You manage the data center areas. This includes: the control area and rack management, the management of cabling (electricity, IT infrastructure), the planning and coordination of small construction measures; the support of external and internal data center customers and coordination of hardware inputs and extensions (including documentation in the DCIM module). In addition, you take over the provider management for the management of data center areas at our data center service provider. In this case, you control the data center service provider on the basis of the service contract and thus ensure the operation of the data center. The tasks include: order creation and procurement; monitoring of the timely execution of the provider; ensuring the process-compliant implementation of the assignment, settlement, documentation and corresponding feedback to the internal and external contractors; interface to the provider for order allocation and delivery declaration, processing of fault tickets and requirements as a 2nd level instance; and the continuation and continuous development of the necessary processes and the cooperation with corresponding organisational units at IT.Niedersachsen.

You have a university degree (Bachelor or equivalent degree) with predominantly economic, administrative, political, health or social insurance content, or you have the ability to enter the second category of careers in the General Services Department, or you have successfully completed the Administrative Examination II. In addition, we expect IT expertise, ideally in the area of data center infrastructure. Also desirable are knowledge in the DCIM and ITIL knowledge.
