Strengthening people, opening prospects

The Red Line – Pedagogical Department of Right-wing Extremism at the St. Elisabeth Association e. V. stands for professional distancing work and individual consulting in the context of extreme right-wing attitudes and scene references. We accompany young people and young adults as well as their relatives and social environments and help them develop new perspectives and opportunities for action.

Distance work with young people and young adults

We accompany young people who are in contact with extremely right-wing attitudes, ideologies or scene structures and who have noticed corresponding actions. We build sustainable working relationships, stimulate reflection processes and support the development of individual motives for change, goals and future perspectives.

Family and environmental advice

We advise parents, relatives and other references, help them to better classify developments and strengthen their security of action in dealing with radicalization and extreme right attitudes. Together we develop strategies to deal with conflicts and strains and to maintain important relationships.

Case work, qualification, cooperation and networking

We work with schools, youth assistance, judiciary and other departments, clarify support needs, plan interventions and carry out training offers.

A pedagogical, social, psychological or comparable qualification as well as experience in counselling or prevention work are advantageous depending on the job profile.

• Distancing work with extreme right-wing affines or endangered young people
• Family and environmental advice
• Implementation of training and awareness-raising services
• Participation and participation in specialist bodies and networking
• Participation in the further development of the Red Line
• Documentation and quality assurance

• Experience in consulting and/or political education
