In order to support our infrastructure teams, we are looking for a dedicated personality to the customer, who develops various database technologies on infrastructure requirements of applications and is responsible for the productive operation: Administration of database systems (ORACLE, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL/Mariadb) design and technical support of infrastructure for applications with Database access Consulting and support of customers and specialist teams related to Databases under Taking into account customer infrastructure Close cooperation with other infrastructure teams, e.g. OS, storage, network. Responsibility for the project realization and introduction of new applications Analysis of weaknesses, error analysis and troubleshooting as well as guaranteeing continuous performance optimization Participation in the development of innovative concepts and support for Implementation projects in complex system landscapes Definition and implementation of monitoring and reporting for different database platforms Secure a smooth database operation in the team including 2nd & 3rd Level Support and 7x24 hrs.

Master or Diploma with adequate professional experience or comparable knowledge and skills At least seven years of professional experience, of which at least five years in IT administration with corresponding complexity Long-term relevant professional experience in database operation Knowledge and many years of professional experience in the administration of database systems (ORACLE, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL/Mariadb) Experience in the provision and operation of databases and the necessary infrastructure Experience in the support of application managers in design and Performance optimization Experience with backup/recovery (Oracle RMAN, Snapshots) and replications (Oracle Dataguard, PostgreSQL) Practical handling of large database systems (in the terabyte area) Very good knowledge of the operating systems SuSE LINUX and Windows 2016 and also of Storage system NetApp (Ontap, Data Protection) Scripting in Shell and SQL Creating monitoring routines in the ConSol/OMD tool and operating Oracle Enterprise Manager / Cloudcontrol ITIL Expert certification or comparable Very good German and English skills
