Your role In your role as Senior System Engineer Microscopy Optics, you are the contact person for the “objective” subarea and are responsible for all sustained and development activities running in the RMS. In doing so, you will guide cross-departmental and cross-departmental projects professionally and coordinate internal and external partners including global development partners. Coordination and responsibility for the development and use of lenses in different systems

Complete study of computer science, natural sciences or engineering, ideally with doctoral studies

Multiannual relevant professional experience in a development or research department, ideally already experience in the content and strategic accompaniment of product development or innovation projects

Comprehensive expertise and development experience in microscopy, complex optical systems, system engineering

Analytical thinking combined with solution competence of complex problems, as well as focused and targeted work

Representative negotiating competence for the coordination of requirements with stakeholders and high level of intercultural competence

Very good customer orientation and presentation skills to present complex facts quickly and reliably

Very good communication skills in German and English (word and writing) and readiness to travel to occasional national and international partners
