Your tasks:

As a CAD/CAM programmer (m/w/d), you are responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs for our 3- to 5-axis machining centers. Their focus is on the CAM programming for the production, reworking and repair of forging sinks based on CAD data as well as the programming of our series production for the reworking of forging components. In addition, by selecting suitable cutting tools and clamping systems as well as optimizing machining strategies, you contribute to economical and process-proof production. You work closely with the tool design, development and automation.

• creation of CNC programs for 3- to 5-axis machining centres with Creo CAM
• CAM programming for the production, reworking and repair of forging sinks and deburring tools based on CAD data
• Creation and optimization of CNC programs for serial reprocessing of forging components
• Optimization and further development of existing CNC programs
• Installation and commissioning of automated CNC systems
• Technical support of employees at the machining centres
• Design and selection of cutting tools as well as workpiece clamping systems including the determination of cutting values and machining parameters
• Production of prototypes in the area of tyre protection
• Close cooperation with tool design, development and automation to continuously optimize production processes

Requirements:

• Completed training in a metalworking profession, e.g. as machining mechanic, tool mechanic or industrial mechanic
• Advanced training for technicians or masters is advantageous
• Multiannual practical experience in machining with 3- to 5-axis milling machines
• Funded CAD/CAM knowledge (preparation)
• Knowledge of PTC Creo is desirable
• Ability to convert complex component drawings and CAD models into economic CNC programs
• Secure reading of technical drawings
• Design knowledge is desirable
• Experience with Heidenhain controls and ideally Siemens, Fanuc or Haas controls
• Self-employed, careful and structured work
• High self-initiative and sense of responsibility
