As Platform Engineering Lead – Core Platforms (m/w/d) at the Essen or Muttenz office in the IT Service Center department, you take the professional leadership for our central IT core platforms and actively shape their strategic development You are responsible for the safe, stable and performant operation of our core platforms and ensure their continuous optimization in terms of scalability, security and usability In close cooperation with IT Security and the departments, you define standards, guidelines and processes that ensure a sustainable, regulatory and harmonised IT environment You lead a team of platform advertisers, give impulses for their further development and promote knowledge sharing and a culture of cooperation You are leading projects to the introduction of new technologies, platforms and services to ensure their successful implementation – from planning to rollout With a clear look for innovation, you identify trends and potentials that strengthen our company in the digital environment and translate them into concrete measures
