For our tasks in contract management, we are currently looking for a Contract Manager / Head of Contract Management (m/w/d) for our location in Erfurt.

As Contract Manager / Head of Contract Management (m/w/d) at PDV Verwaltungs GmbH, you take over the strategic and operational structure at our headquarters in Erfurt and thereby significantly shape the contractual nature of the entire group of companies. You are contact persons for all legal issues relating to contract design, procurement procedures and liability risks. Creating a central and digital contract management system You are the basis for transparently controlling legal risks by means of clear processes, guidelines and by incorporating digital tools for process automation. You provide reliable and predictive compliance with all legal framework conditions and internal compliance requirements. analyse and manage risks in contractual works and develop practical strategies for the legal and economic protection of the group of companies. Developing our central contract database You keep structured, collect all relevant contractual information and document changes systematically. During contract negotiations with business partners and service providers, you represent the interests of the group of companies convincingly; also through cooperation on procurement procedures. You actively participate in the creation, audit and release of the contract and always keep in mind the legal and economic objectives.

A degree in law or economic law is your technical basis; alternatively, you have a degree in economics with a strong legal orientation or can demonstrate relevant professional experience. Multiannual experience in the management or deputy management of a legal or contractual division will bring you along with well-founded practice in contract design and operational contract management. You may have completed a training course with certification to the contract manager. Ideally, you have first experience in managing a small team and the ability to motivate and develop employees. With a legal view and strategic understanding, you design contracts structured, negotiate securely and convincingly represent the interests of your company. At best, you have knowledge of IT and procurement law or willingness to engage in these legal areas. Communication strength and negotiation skills combine with a clear look for practical solutions. Very good knowledge of German as well as a safe English in word and writing complete your profile. You will develop your strengths especially in the personal exchange on site and you will appreciate working predominantly in the office to actively promote cooperation in the team, to efficiently use short voting paths and to develop sustainable solutions together.
