Expert Manager Media Relations / Press Spokesperson (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the conceptual and operational management of press and media work, take over the professional leadership of employees and coordination of tasks within the team. You develop our media work on our solutions in our four business segments credit, identity, compliance and fraud prevention, with the declared goal of strengthening transparency and confidence for our company. As a press spokesperson, you represent SCHUFA to the press and the public – also in radio and television – with the aim of transporting complex topics in clear messages in a comprehensible manner and also having experience in issue and crisis communication. Through your network, you are proactively placing topics in the leading media on consumer and financial policy content, and encourage close cooperation with economic, consumer and tech actions. As a media expert, you take on the professional responsibility for performance measurement and improvement to get a clear and objective picture of public resonance and perception. You are contact person:in and coach, advises and supports them to perform by colleagues in the media/public. The continuous development of media work, the placement and management of corresponding projects complete your range of activities.

You have a degree in communication sciences, journalism, public relations, political sciences or a comparable academic basis for the above-mentioned tasks. You already have several years of experience as a communicator:in (PR, corporate communication or journalism) and have experiences as a press speaker:in. You have relevant experiences in leading or at least professionally coordinating function in a similar context. You can access a valid personal network to journalists: inside the relevant media. You build on your very good knowledge of the media landscape (print, online, radio, TV), as well as your experience with communication and crisis strategies. You rely on excellent written and oral expressiveness and the ability to present complex facts in a comprehensible and concise manner. Last but not least; You are sovereign and resilient, keeps quiet and professionalism under pressure and has an absolutely safe appearance against media and top management.
