Junior API Manager with an affinity for IT infrastructure - Direct entry PLUS

As Junior API Manager *in, you will become an important part of our team responsible for managing and optimizing our API platform. Together with our experienced developers, product managers and other colleagues, you make sure that our APIs meet the needs of our company and offer the best quality. Your main goal will be to ensure the efficiency, safety and reliability of our APIs while gaining valuable experience in API management. Parallel to API management, you bring an affinity for IT infrastructures and will make a valuable contribution to operation with your expertise. Your core tasks include: Ensure a stable and secure operation of our API platform. Skilled use of IaC, AI and CI/CD pipelines to continuously optimize and improve the operation of the API platform and processes. Monitoring the performance of our APIs and enhancements. Active employment with security to protect our APIs from potential threats, as well as further development of the API platform. Working in the IT base infrastructure - LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls and load balancer as well as Active Directory and Windows Server. You are a graduate or have already gained first professional experience and are you inspiring for a specific topic? Choosing the direct entry PLUS means knowing exactly where to start. Your PLUS in our six-month accompanying program are network events to quickly establish contacts, online learning courses and on-site training, lectures in relevant interface departments as well as workshops and lectures. Completed studies of (economic) informatics or specialist informatics successfully completed and acquired first experience in the IT field; as an alternative a comparable training. Ideally, first experience in managing APIs and familiar with various IT architectures and networks. No fear of the command line and ideally knowledge of scripting or programming (Python, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, GitLab and Azure DevOps pipelines are advantageous). Basic understanding of project management practices and an open mindset regarding agile working methods.
