Head of Finance with operational responsibility and financial statement responsibility in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) (m/f/d)

In order to strengthen our leadership team, we are looking for an experienced personality as head of finance that secures financial stability, manages processes responsibly and combines strategic requirements with active operational cooperation.

Your role As Head of Finance, you have the overall responsibility for the commercial sector and are also deeply involved in the day-to-day operating business. You are responsible for the annual financial statements according to HGB, as well as for the technical control and supervision of the annual audit. In addition, you will be able to introduce your sound knowledge in the consolidated financial statements according to HGB including consolidation professionally.

Financial and accounting Total responsibility for financial and accounting Accounting, balance sheet and payment Active cooperation in the operating daily business (e.g. booking releases, liquidity planning, clarification of complex business incidents) Responsibility for the preparation of the annual financial statements according to HGB as well as for the technical control and supervision of the annual financial audit Creation of monthly and quarterly accounts by HGB Active professional participation in the consolidated financial statements according to HGB including consolidation Contact person*in for auditors, financial authorities and external partners Continuous development of efficient processes and systems in the financial sector

Corporate Control, Controlling & Governance Planning and control of the budget and liquidity of the participations of Saarland-Sportto GmbH Controlling the participations of Saarland-Sporttoto GmbH Ensuring tax, regulatory and legal requirements (including HGB, gambling law) Further development of the internal control system (IKS) and risk management Business advice and participation in strategic decisions

Complete business studies or a comparable qualification as well as relevant professional experience in a financial function Funded knowledge in the consolidated financial statements according to HGB including consolidation as well as the ability to introduce them professionally into the current final work Very good knowledge of financial and accounting as well as in controlling and tax issues Structured and analytical working together with clear leadership and communication skills in cooperation with team, management and external partners
