Project Manager Fire and Rescue Stations (m/f/d)

You design the new building and the further development of locations of the professional and voluntary fire brigade – from the main station 1 to new, decentralized facilities and thus actively participate in infrastructure projects of the city of Essen.

In your role, you take over the control of complex construction projects – from the first idea to the key transfer.

Strategic project responsibility: You take over the overall management and coordination of complex construction projects, plan, control and control dates, costs and qualities and always keep an overview of budgets, deadlines and project objectives Building contractor and communication: You coordinate all project participants, coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders and are responsible for the planning of needs, inventory analyses, location analyses and test designs Feasibility in focus: You evaluate feasibility studies and derive actionable from them Contracts: You carry out public procurement procedures, accompany the evaluation of offers and are responsible for contract negotiations and designs Controlling and documentation: You take over the reporting, check planning and construction services and ensure a transparent, structured project documentation

Qualification and expertise: You have completed your studies in the field of architecture, civil engineering, city/space planning or a comparable qualification with a focus on building or project management Experience in practice: You bring several years of experience in project management and project management of complex construction projects – ideally in the field of public or safety-relevant infrastructure (e.g. fire brigade, rescue services) knowledge of relevant regulations: You are safe in the context of the relevant laws and regulations such as VOB, VgV, HOAI and AHO Structure and overview: You convince by a structured, solution-oriented way of working, analytical thinking and a secure sense of priorities Digital and mobile: You are routined in dealing with MS Office, knowledge in AVA tools are a plus; a class B driver completes your profile
