Tariff classification of Voith products in accordance with the applicable customs and foreign trade regulations. Export control classification of products according to national and international regulations and verification of possible authorisation requirements. Implementation and assessment of counterparty audits including clarification of relevant audit results. preparation, submission and independent support of export licence applications to the competent authorities. Examination of the applicability and use of general authorisations and monitoring of the related requirements and reporting obligations. Assessment of complex transactions taking into account embargoes, sanctions, end use and end users. Further development of the internal export control system as well as participation in the optimization, digitization and standardization of relevant processes. Preparation and implementation of internal training and supervision of audits. Creation and updating of work instructions, guidelines and other export control-relevant specifications.

Completed studies, for example in the field of economics, economic law or a comparable discipline, or completed commercial training with a corresponding additional qualification. Multi-annual relevant professional experience in the field of export control and foreign business, ideally in an internationally active industrial company. Ability to independently evaluate risks and derive practical recommendations for action. Experience in dealing with competent authorities, in particular the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control. Good understanding of international business processes and current geopolitical and economic developments. Self-employed, structured and responsible work and a high degree of decision-making and enforcement. Very good communication and consulting skills as well as a sovereign appearance towards different internal and external contacts. Secure handling of MS Office, SAP and SharePoint solutions. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing; further foreign languages are advantageous. Ready for occasional missions of about 5 to 10 percent. .
