Directors: Prof. Dr. Weishaupt & Prof. Dr. Häusler) we are looking for one/n at 01.04.2026 Psychologist (w/m/d) as part of the project Maximum therapy for neuronal rehabilitation in Alzheimer's dementia (project management: Prof. Dr. Dorothée Lulé), limited for 3 years There are currently 2 new antibody therapies available for Alzheimer's dementia, which can reduce the beta-amyloid load in Alzheimer's disease patients and improve the cognitive ability of patients. An intervention study with maximum therapy, in particular cognitive training and reduction of further Alzheimer's risk factors, is planned to be able to optimally utilize the neuronal plasticity of the brain that is enabled by the drugs. The interdisciplinary treatment team is composed of (Neuro) psychologists and physicians of neurology. Type of contract: Limited Type of employment: Full-time Application until: 20.02.2026

Cooperation in the project in the team of neuropsychology and the dementia ambulance of neurology Investigation of Neuropsychological Diagnostics Application of cognitive training as well as reduction of further Alzheimer's risk factors in the context of current Alzheimer's antibody therapies in Alzheimer's patients Input of data into electronic databases, statistical evaluation and, if necessary, Development of research questions Cooperation in an interdisciplinary team of the University Hospitals Ulm

Complete study of psychology (master or equivalent) German language level C2 for communication with older and cognitively restricted patients Embossed communication and team skills Interest in medical and (neuro)psychological questions High motivation, pleasure in independent work and good access to patients Scientific thinking and very good foundations in statistics Good computer skills and interest in working on the PC
