Senior Expert Digitalization & Automation Platforms (m/f/d)

In this role you play a central role in building and developing automation and digitization platforms within BwBM. You work at the interface of IT, departments and external technology partners and ensure that sustainable platforms and scalable solutions are created from digitalization initiatives. You understand digitalization as a value-oriented process: The business process is at the heart of the process – technological approaches are consistently measured by what concrete benefits You create for specialist areas and the company. Your tasks include: Development of a comprehensive basic concept for digitalization and automation within the organization Construction and development of automation platforms – in the SAP environment and with the Microsoft Power Platform Identification and implementation of pilot projects and prototypes (PoC, MVP) – from the first test in the CEC Troisdorf real laboratory to the organizational rollout Identification of automation potentials in business processes – including using AI technologies, process mining or RPA Building an organization-wide community for automation and digital processes Support in budget planning and strategic development of platforms The role combines conceptual work, project management and technical understanding – without being a pure developer role.

We are looking for a personality that moves safely between technology, strategy and organization. A high degree of experimentation, structured approach, and the ability to evaluate technologies such as automation, AI and modern software architectures in real end-to-end processes, you are notable. Ideally you bring experience from one or more of the following areas: SAP environment and process automation Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate / Power Apps) in the context of platform setup or automation Digitization or optimization of business processes Establishment or introduction of platform solutions In addition, you have the following: Multiannual professional experience in the field of digitalization, automation or IT project management, like from industry, advice or public environment Practice in controlling external service providers or implementation partners Finded insights into the request collection with the request management German in Word and Writing (level C2) Certification Microsoft PL-900 – Power Platform Fundamentals or Similar Why the role of us is exciting This position has been created because we want to develop automation and digitization strategically.
