(Junior)Buyer Procurement Management Packaging (m/f/d)

As a junior buyer (m/w/d) for our full-board/well-karton product packaging, you take a key role in our purchasing team and are responsible for the entire procurement process for these important packaging materials. Their focus is on a self-responsible way of working, both in the day-to-day business and in the development of forward-looking strategies: Independently responsible handling of the entire procurement process for folding cartons and corrugated cardboard boxes – from demand determination to timely delivery Strategic supplier selection, evaluation and development: You identify new suppliers, evaluate their performance and contribute significantly to the development and maintenance of sustainable supplier relationships Own leadership of price and contract negotiations and the conclusion of framework agreements to ensure optimal conditions Continuous market observation and trend analysis in packaging materials to identify innovative solutions and potential savings Disposition and order processing including time and quantity monitoring as well as active complaint management Close cooperation with internal interfaces to coordinate needs and process optimization Maintenance and updating of master data in the ERP system Regular service trips to suppliers and potential partners to maintain and expand business relationships (approximately 10%)

(m/w/d) or Kaufmann (m/w/d) for wholesale and foreign trade management, or a comparable qualification Professional experience in purchasing, ideally in packaging materials or comparable direct materials Safe handling of MS Office (especially Excel) and experience in handling ERP systems Good English knowledge of word and writing readiness to travel (national and possibly international, approx. 10%) Own initiative, self-sufficiency and sense of responsibility – both in operational day-to-day business and in the development of strategic approaches Negotiating skills and enforcement Analytical and Structured Operation Communication power, pleasure in work in the team and sovereign appearance
