Designing Global Manufacturing You define, answer and follow the global manufacturing engineering, automation and footprint initiatives and consistently align them with the company's goals. Developing the production network of the future You create a globally standardized, digitally networked and high-performant production system – from manufacturing standards to automation to MES/ERP integration and AI-based production processes. Making transformation consistent You drive and monitor global transformation programs, location developments, production shifts and technology and automation initiatives with high implementation speed and sustainable impact. You yourself take responsibility for strategically important projects. Increase performance sustainably You support Best Practice Sharing for productivity, OEE, quality, cost and operational excellence and create data-based transparency across all works. Control investment and technologies You develop the long-term technology and investment strategy for our global production network and boost innovative manufacturing technologies. Top management consult, brief and work internationally You act as a strategic Sparring partner of the COO, prepare management templates from your area of responsibility, communicate progress and decisions, and represent Manufacturing Engineering at Executive level towards internal and external stakeholders.

The basis is an excellent degree in engineering, automation technology or a comparable field of expertise – ideally with a deepening through doctoral studies or significant research stays abroad. Significant transformation skills can be gathered in a leading production-oriented management consultancy in multiple years of experience – alternatively, you can demonstrate success in a comparable strategic transformation role within a manufacturing company. Professional stakeholders appreciate your strong ability to strategically design complex industrial transformations and consistently translate them into measurable results. You have a deep understanding of modern production systems, automation, operational excellence, digitalization and global production networks. You are characterized by a sovereign appearance on executive levels, a strong level of consulting and communication and the ability to gain different stakeholders for changes. An entrepreneurial thinking personality with high design energy, international mindset as well as reliable knowledge of German and English complete your profile.
