March 2028 for 39 hours per week Project managerin Max Planck Schools for the educational campus Heilbronn Reference number 55/25 The Max Planck Schools – Joint Graduate Program of German Universities and Research Organizations will be continued and further developed after a seven-year pilot phase, supported by a promotion of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation. In the currently three schools – Cognition, Matter to Life and Photonics – scientists from currently 26 German universities and 35 institutes of the non-university research institutions jointly qualify talents. The educational campus Heilbronn will offer the nationwide, decentralized programme a central point of contact for networking and cross-school exchange. The Virtual Max Planck School Center as the central coordination of the schools is assigned to the Department of Science Policy and Strategy Processes, which acts as an interface between central internal strategy processes of the MPG and its President and external developments in the German scientific system. The position as a project managerin Max Planck Schools offers you the opportunity to actively shape an excellence programme of the German scientific system and to develop and establish the new hub for the Virtual Max Planck Schools Center at the Heilbronnn educational campus.

Event management for individual schools and the Virtual Max Planck Schools Center Active networking of the Schools programme with the diverse actors and other institutions at the Heilbronn educational campus Proactive visualization of school activities at the Heilbronn educational campus Organisation of the annual MPS Graduation Ceremony in Heilbronn for graduates incl. corresponding project management (pre- and post-processing of meetings, budget planning, operational implementation etc.) Support for central marketing coordination at the Virtual Max Planck Center, e.g. in the context of LinkedIn Financial administration of the activities in Heilbronn in coordination with the central financial coordination of the Virtual Max Planck Schools Center Participation in other activities and tasks of the Virtual Max Planck Center
