As a link between fleet operators, wholesale and retail levels of Mercedes-Benz AG, it supports customers with competent technical and logistic services around the automobile. These challenges come to you:

Developing and ensuring quality concepts, requirements and standards from the product development phase to series maturity Preparation and continuous development of technical documentation, in particular assembly instructions, test instructions, technical documentation and quality-relevant documents Close cooperation and support for vehicle development to transfer technical customer and product requirements to measurable and testable quality standards Planning, implementation and documentation of sampling processes and product reviews as well as analysis and evaluation of the results with the relevant specialist areas Implementation of incoming goods and active participation in the quality development and assessment of suppliers Construction, implementation and continuous optimization of end-control processes to ensure high product quality and serial maturity Analysis of quality deviations, causes of errors and complaints as well as development and follow-up of appropriate correction and improvement measures in the product and process environment Definition and monitoring of quality indicators and assessment of process effectiveness Accompanying and preparing internal and external quality management audits according to ISO 9001

Ideally qualify for this job:

Successfully completed university studies in the field of mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics or a comparable technical field Multiannual professional experience in quality management as well as in the design, introduction or further development of development and quality processes Safe handling of technical drawings, specifications, piece lists, assembly documents and test requirements Relevant knowledge in the production of technical documentation and a comprehensive understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes Practical experience in the fields of incoming goods inspection, product design, final inspection and complaint and deviation management Funded expertise in modern quality methods and techniques, such as APQP, risk management, 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa and maturity assessment Excellent skills in project management as well as a structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach Embossed communication and team skills as well as hands-on mentality and decision-making strength across divisions
