Engineer as Asset Manager for Buildings and Engineering Structures at the Port Railway

The unit building and plant ensures the sustainable and reliable operation of actuating plant buildings and railway affinities. It is responsible for maintenance, fault management, construction and rehabilitation measures and actively promotes energy efficiency and CO2 reduction.

Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! You control the entire portfolio of control units and engineering structures in a sustainable, efficient and forward-looking manner. You are responsible for the fault, maintenance and maintenance management of the Stellwerk building and the Lokservicestelle. You launch maintenance and renewal projects and control the planning of measures with the Facility Management. The economic planning for your portfolio is your responsibility, including a vigilant look at costs and resources. You identify potentials for energy saving and implement measures to reduce CO2. In addition, you coordinate construction and renovation projects from the call to implementation.

You have a completed master's degree in civil engineering, utility technology, facility management or energy or environmental engineering. Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification. You bring well-founded know-how in sustainable construction and know yourself safely in energetic renovation and the relevant technical standards. From planning to tendering to implementation, you have experience in the project management of renovation measures. In addition, you benefit from your understanding of decarbonization strategies, CO2 accounting and life cycle analyses or you want to further develop in these topics. Your independent and structured way of working as well as your distinct analytical thinking skills are a feature.
