Lead Cyber Security Manager (m/w/d)

from now on and in full time in Bonn or Leipzig.

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

The Competence Center IT-Security (CCITS) bundles the operational IT information and cyber security competencies with the task of embracing these security services and services cross-sectionally. The CCITS acts as an internal contractor for the development and implementation of security solutions across the entire core value chain and is an operator for the associated security services. The Protect & Detect Security Services section focuses on providing services to protect against vulnerabilities and intrusion attempts. He is responsible for the complete provision, control and monitoring of the cross-average and multi-annual Protect & Detect Services. This includes providing services to protect against and analyze vulnerabilities using an advisory management tool as well as vulnerability scanning.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of (economic) computer science, orientation IT security of advantage or alternatively comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in the field of activity
• Ideally 6 years of proven experience and expertise especially in service provision, control and monitoring
• Vulnerability management, ideally in government and federal defence environment
• Owner of relevant certificates for IT service management and IT security
• knowledge of procurement procedures by GWB
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address multiple problems
• ready for occasional national missions
• Flowing German and English skills

Your tasks:

• Service responsibility for “Vulnerability Control and Analysis” to protect against and treat vulnerabilities
• Professional and financial responsibility of the LifeCycle Service as well as for defining the strategy and accompanying the service design
• Professional leadership of a geographically distributed service team
• Ensuring and reviewing the promised delivery and performance obligations
• Financial and investment planning and costing of offers
• Advice and representation of "Vulnerability Control and Analysis" in cross-disciplinary working groups
• Detection of defined targets and objectives and compliance with relevant guidelines
