The Information and Technology Services department manages and organises all DKMS IT services worldwide. Data security and the use of state-of-the-art technologies are of central importance for a modern and service-oriented organisation such as the DKMS. The Workplace Management Team is responsible for providing a reliable and secure IT work environment. In addition to the end user support, this also includes the support of our external service desk. For our Information and Technology Services department in Munich, we are looking for an IT Onsite Support Engineer (m/w/d).

Monitoring the system status of workplaces and IT components close to workstations (e.g. printers or conference rooms) at all locations as well as eliminating errors and disturbances on site or remote maintenance Processing of malfunctions and service requests as well as escalation of downstream support units or service partners as required Compliance with agreed reaction and solution times for tickets in their own responsibility Procurement, establishment, documentation, management and disposal of IT equipment Software-based installation of operating systems and software packages on terminals Provision of (mobile) terminals Administration and Troubleshooting of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Printserver, Citrix and our Cisco Telecommunications Solutions Creation and updating of documentation

Successfully completed training in the IT environment At least 2 years of professional experience in customer service or IT support Wide expertise in hardware, network technologies, operating systems and applications Embossed customer-oriented behavior and target-group-oriented communication skills High sense of responsibility, hand-on mentality and friendly appearance Team skills, flexibility, organizational skills Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Intercultural experiences are beneficial
