In the 3.5-year training as an electronics technician for operating technology, you learn the theoretical and practical foundations to install and maintain electrical components and systems. You will learn the design of plant changes and extensions, install line guidance systems and power lines, adjust machines and drive systems and mount switching devices. Other tasks include programming, configuration and testing of systems and safety devices. You learn to monitor the systems, to wait. You carry out regular checks and repair them in case of a malfunction.
