This is a highly entrepreneurial sales role focused on developing and expanding a pharma intermediates business across the DACH region. You will take full ownership of both customer development and supplier sourcing, with a strong focus on request and growth. Description Drive and expand sales of pharmaceutical intermediates across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland Build and develop relationships with CDMOs and pharmaceutical manufacturers Identify and realize new business opportunities in a project-driven environment Take on a dual commercial role: Sales development (customer side) Supplier sourcing and product development (trading side)
Negotiate commercial terms with a clear focus on gross margin optimization Take full ownership of your business portfolio, performance, and growth Collaborate close with international teams (sourcing, logistics, customer service) Travel regular within the DACH region
Proven experience in sales or business development within pharma intermediates, CDMO environments, or pharmaceutical supply chains Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and synthesis-related products Background in Chemistry or a related scientific field preferred Clear hunter mindset with a track record of building business Experience in trading, distribution, or entrepreneurial environments is a plus Highly self-driven, pragmatic, and results-oriented personality Comfortable working with high automation and limited structure Strong commercial acumen with focus on prospect and margins Willingness to travel frequently Fluent in English
