Product Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

Product Compliance is currently set up as an independent function at ELATEC and is further professionalized. You play a central role – both operationally and strategically. Building and structuring Product Compliance: You analyze the current status quo, identify gaps and prioritise the most important topics. After that, you go to this operational and develop a scalable compliance framework Perspective team building: controlling internal and external resources and preparing a future team (no disciplinary leadership at the beginning) Conformity management for electronic products: Key regulations such as RED, CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH or PFAS (no business compliance, no certification approval) Technical documentation and material compliance: preparation and evaluation of DoC, test reports and risk analyses, as well as topics such as Conflict Minerals or SCIP Cybersecurity / CRA: Creation and implementation of new regulatory requirements in the product context Interface work in the company: Close cooperation with engineering, product management and sales – including consulting and enablement Audits and regulatory developments: monitoring and evaluation of new requirements worldwide

Technical background: Engineering studies or comparable qualifications with approval for electronic products Experience in Product Compliance: Multiannual practice in Product Compliance, Material Compliance or similar areas – ideally in the hardware/electronic environment Regulatory understanding: Experience with relevant requirements (e.g. RED, RoHS, REACH) and their application in the product context Structure and implementation: independent, structured way of work and the ability to advance complex topics pragmatically Stakeholder management: experience in cooperation with internal cutting points and external partners (e.g. test laboratories, authorities) Communication: Very good German and English for work in an international environment Important: You don't have to master all themes in detail. There is a wide understanding of product compliance and the ability to work in new topics in a structured manner and involve experts.
