Team Leader IT Application Management (m/f/d)

We support and advise, as an independent expert service, the medical service of Lower Saxony, statutory health insurance and social care insurance in all medical and nursing matters. Whether the quality of care facilities or care services is to be tested, treatment errors are suspected or questions about new treatment methods are to be assessed independently: we are here. With around 1,300 colleagues at 13 locations.

You ensure a stable, efficient operation and the strategic further development of the IT application landscape in line with business requirements. You are responsible for managing and implementing architectural changes, digitalization initiatives and software development projects. You keep an eye on the overall architectural image and strategically align the application landscape. You analyse the requirements of the specialist areas, prioritise them together and drive their implementation forward in a targeted manner. You coordinate releases, updates and changes across internal teams, departments and external service providers and control them including SLA monitoring, quality assurance and escalation management. You act as a central interface, secure governance, security and documentation, while promoting cooperation and continuous learning.

You have completed scientific studies (e.g. (economic) informatics) or completed vocational training in the field of computer science with relevant professional experience or comparable qualifications. You have profound knowledge in the fields of development tools, software architectures and software development processes including agile methods (Scrum). You have multi-year leadership experience. You have knowledge of software development, in the field of database systems (SQL, XML) and in the context AI. You have experiences and certifications in the field of ITIL (processes) and IT project management (e.g. Prince 2). You work independently and can identify problems and misdevelopments.
