July 2026 Scope of work: Full-time job Reference number: 00004951 The area of teaching strategy and digitalization is part of the Department of Innovation and Quality in Teaching and the Vice-Rectorate for Studies and Teaching. The area deals in particular with teaching topics and advises the department management as well as the Vice-Rector for Studies and Teaching in the development of strategies and concepts. Furthermore, the area initiates the acquisition of third-party funding projects, advises on various teaching innovation funding programs and coordinates university-wide projects.

Head of the Department of Teaching Strategy and Digitization Conception of overalluniversity strategies and measures for further development in the field of study and teaching in cooperation with the department management Advising university institutions, faculties and teachers on teaching-related issues Process management for setting up and changing courses Project management in the context of the overalluniversity project “CuCo – Center for Curricular Co-Creation” Coordination, development and advice on applications for external and internal tenders in the field of studies and teaching Internal and external networking with relevant actors

Completed academic studies (master or comparable) Experience in management functions and personnel/team management Experience in the acquisition, coordination and settlement of (third-party) projects Proven knowledge of the heterogeneous structures of academic (self-) administration in the context of complex universities Proven knowledge in science management and higher education structures Ability to work quickly into complex processes and new topics and to edit them independently and targeted Strategic thinking Very good communication skills (word and writing) Cooperation and team skills are of course Very good knowledge of German (level C1), good knowledge of English (B2)
