Head of Innovation & Enablement Services (m/f/d)

You take over the disciplinary and administrative management of the Innovation & Enablement Services (OET3) department in the field of engineering. You will lead a team of AI experts and enablement roles and help us understand quality, impact and work. You develop skills and promote the exchange of knowledge and experience across engineering. You are responsible for engineering skills through modern methods, targeted coaching and effective use of AI-based solutions. You identify useful AI applications in engineering and accompany their introduction together with DevOps and infrastructure teams. You evaluate the benefits, maturity and risks and make sure that AI is used where it sustainably supports. You are responsible for the technology base and for effective value chain (idea/pulse à budgeting --> control à empowerment) You build an effective engineering license support and develop a clear IT key user structure that acts as a bridge between engineering and central IT. For transparent escalation paths and continuous improvement of service quality. You plan and optimize the resources you need and their use taking into account a multi-project and product environment. You measure the effectiveness of enablement measures and continuously develop the portfolio. You control and monitor compliance with engineering processes in your area of responsibility and work with the continuous improvement of applied standards and processes. You make sure that all agreed services are provided in time, quality and cost – focusing on stability, scalability and efficiency If necessary, you will guide in-area projects and transformation topics.

You have a successfully completed study of computer science, natural science or engineering or a comparable qualification. Extensive knowledge and competencies in the situational leadership, motivation and further development of employees You support team work and open and constructive communication between employees. You also have well-founded experiences in dealing with service-oriented organizations and IT service models (ITIL) You have experience in designing, implementing and developing a governance and delegation framework for the interaction of different stakeholders. You bring a very good basic understanding for AI applications in engineering and can realistically evaluate their potential. You are able to build and prioritize KI-Use-Case portfolios, evaluate maturity levels and control piloting in a targeted manner. You have well-founded experience in license management of technical software products, ideally in engineering, development or industrial environments. You understand different license models such as Named User, Floating, Token-based or Cloud-based licenses and can realistically evaluate their impact on development processes. You have experience in working with external engineering service providers, technology partners or consulting. In addition to self-responsive action and enforcement capability, safe occurrence as well as pronounced resilience and flexibility are your strengths. Structured recording of complex and abstract relationships in technical and organizational systems is easy for you. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. You are ready for occasional national and international missions.
