The Kreisjugendring Esslingen e.V. (KJR) is the working group of youth associations and youth rings, the support of open and mobile child and youth work as well as local youth representatives. We are providers of school social work, many full-day education areas in schools and various projects in the Esslingen County. In addition, the KJR is a recognised institution for the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) and the Federal Voluntary Service (BFD). With around 260 employees at present, the KJR is one of the largest free carriers of child and youth funding in the Esslingen County.
Neuhausen is a growing municipality with currently 12,500 inhabitants. A special feature is the high voluntary commitment in many associations and institutions as well as a very living community. The Youth Centre Penthaus is an institution of open youth work and very well connected in the municipality.
