The Kreisjugendring Esslingen e.V. (KJR) is the working group of youth associations and youth rings, the support of open and mobile child and youth work as well as local youth representatives. We are providers of school social work, many full-day education areas in schools and various projects in the Esslingen County. In addition, the KJR is a recognised institution for the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) and the Federal Voluntary Service (BFD). With around 260 employees at present, the KJR is one of the largest free carriers of child and youth funding in the Esslingen County.

Neuhausen is a growing municipality with currently 12,500 inhabitants. A special feature is the high voluntary commitment in many associations and institutions as well as a very living community. The Youth Centre Penthaus is an institution of open youth work and very well connected in the municipality. In particular with the schools (basic and community school) in the village there is a long-term cooperation which includes regular offers and projects. In addition to the classic open operation, the Penthaus also offers a varied range of events. The participation of young people and young adults is one of our main focuses, as is the support for personality development, community skills and competence training.

Your tasks:

• Development, design and implementation of open offers for the target groups Teenies and Youth
• Collaborative offers in the school sector such as student cafés or AGs
• Participation in the care of social media channels
• Substantive support for projects and actions

Your profile:

• You have a degree, ideally in the field of social work or a comparable educational qualification
• You bring knowledge of the life situations of children and adolescents and have joy in dealing with young people
• A high degree of autonomy, team skills, organizational skills, enforcement skills and flexibility characterize you
• You appear authentically and openly, show rich ideas and like to apply your diverse knowledge of methods in practice
