At the IT service center (IT-DLZ), we are looking for one/one in the field A2 “Central Ser-vices” in the field of software license management/software asset management at the next possible time

IT-Assetmanager*in (m/w/d)

Your tasks

The individual tasks are as follows:

• Responsibility for the technical inventory of all IT assets (Hardware & Soft-ware) via a central IT-Asset Management Tool

• Design, further development and optimization of the process for inventory and management of assets in the IT-Asset Management Tool

• Creating and connecting our customers to the tool used

• Maintenance of a current overview of used software licenses, license consumption and compliance monitoring

• Detection of reports and analyses on assets, life cycles and licensing costs

Your profile

• a completed university or bachelor degree in the field of computer science or business informatics

(m/w/d) with several years of professional experience in the project

What we require

• Experiences in IT-asset or license management, ideally with a corresponding tool (e.g. ServiceNow, Matrix42, Ivanti etc.)

• Good understanding of IT infrastructures, lifecycle management and software license models

• Communication and team skills with both internal and external services

• Ready to use

• Individual initiative, flexibility, endurance, loadability

• Performance and independent, solution- and process-oriented operation

Wünchenwert – but not a must

• deeper knowledge of IT system architectures in the field of IT operation, operating systems, network technologies

• detailed technical knowledge regarding the operation of IT infrastructures and software

• Willing to work into extensive license regulations of software manufacturers

Short presentation of the IT service centre

The IT service center is the central IT service provider of the Saarland administration. As part of the digitalisation of public administration, we support the local authorities with competent advice, project management, solutions and services based on eGovernment services, IT infrastructure, data center performance, web programming as well as with specific process applications.
