Technical and disciplinary management of the purchase of capital goods and indirect needs (including technical installations, construction works, FM, services, IT) Leadership, development and perspective development of the team Development and implementation of sustainable purchasing and product group strategies to optimise costs, quality and security of supply Control of supplier management including selection, evaluation, development and negotiation Own management of complex negotiations as well as design, testing and conclusion of relevant contracts (work, construction and IT contracts) Ensuring clean, consistent procurement processes including compliance, risk and escalation management Support for specialist buyers and close cooperation with technical stakeholders, in particular in the field of machinery and equipment A mixture of operational integration and strategic and leadership related activities Initiating and implementing measures for process optimization and digitization in purchasing

Complete technical studies or comparable qualification with a pronounced commercial affinity (e.g. industrial engineering) Experience gained in the technical or indirect purchasing of capital goods in an industrial environment Founded leadership experience; alternatively clear motivation to go the next step into a leadership role Very good technical understanding, especially in machine and plant engineering; knowledge of the building environment Funded knowledge in contract law, in particular in the field of works contracts, VOB and IT and service contracts, incl. active contract design Impressed levels of negotiation and enforcement, strategic thinking and sovereign occurrence Structured, independent and responsible operation Very good knowledge of MS Office and common ERP and purchasing systems
