Teacher (m/w/d) in the day group in parttime

The Waldfrieden Children's and Youth Assistance Centre on the outskirts of Butzbach offers a wide green area: from stationary housing groups, inobservation, day groups and outpatient help to an encounter and own horses. Together with our diverse team, flexible and creative solutions for intensive work with the children and young people entrusted to us and their families will open up here.

Mission Leben is a non-profit company in the context of the deacon. Around 2,500 employees support in 40 facilities in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate people with care needs, with disabilities or in social emergencies as well as children and young people.

Your future tasks

• They work with about 9 school-aged children and adolescents who have difficulties in school, family and personal matters, as well as with their families in one of our daily groups in Butzbach
• They support structuring and managing everyday life
• They strengthen skills through various offers in small and large groups and promote the social behaviour of young people entrusted to us
• You document and create reports as well as funding and development plans
• They cooperate with ASD, schools, EB and other authorities

This will bring you

• A successfully completed training as an educator or curative teacher with a state-of-the-art recognition or a completed social-pedagogical (professional) university degree or a comparable qualification as an educational specialist
• The necessary skills to guide a group of around 9 children and young people responsibly
• Current knowledge of legal and administrative principles
• Driving license and the ability to control a 9-seater bus
