For the IT security and user service group, we are looking for a group management (m/w/d) IT services & IT security at the Essen site for the next possible appointment in an indefinite order.

Professional and disciplinary leadership of the IT Security and IT Services group, as well as objectives, delegation and promotion of employees Further development and security of IT controllers, management of IT project portfolio management and support of strategic IT planning Head of the IT Security Board, Responsibility for Business Process Management and IT Governance Planning and implementation of strategic requirements and concepts for the user support of IT and IT workstation design as well as the control of patch management Design and optimization of the procurement of IT services and interface management between purchasing and IT specialist groups performing group-wide, professional tasks within the IT and supporting department management in the implementation of cross-thematic areas

Successfully completed studies of Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a comparable subject (Master, Dipl.-Ing.) with relevant professional experience Influential leadership experience in the IT environment as well as experience in IT process management, user support and IT standards Knowledge of the new digitalization concepts regarding the design of IT workstations and the principles of IT user architectures Advanced knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (EU Data Protection Regulation, BSI Law, BSI KRITIS Regulation) Knowledge of legal and internal requirements in procurement, in particular in procurement law Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, high team and delegation capability as well as a very good communication and compromise readiness

Compensation shall be carried out in accordance with the transfer of activity and its substantive activity characteristics, as well as the completion of the training/vocational training required for this purpose, in accordance with the contract Wasserwirtschaft NRW (TV-WW/NW) in the remuneration group 13. The specific classification of the level within the remuneration group depends on the relevant professional experience. In addition to the basic tariff remuneration, a tariff variable, performance-oriented premium payment may be granted if the conditions are met.
