The Schwarz IT supports the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of the Schwarz Group. It is therefore responsible for selecting, providing and operating as well as further developing IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions.

Your tasks

• Support for the collection and provision of business-relevant data in the central data store of SCHWARZ IT.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the BI platform, including error and cause analysis, and implementation of corrections and preventive measures in the event of a malfunction. Communication with affected customers.
• Continuous optimization and automation of the BI platforms and closure of vulnerabilities.
• Contact for new IT requirements and interface between the teams of Business Consulting and Infrastructure (national/international).
• Support in the technical assessment of requirements regarding costs, benefits and urgency as well as advice from customers.
• Regular exchange with customers of the BI platforms about the current state of the requirements.
• Support in the planning and implementation of annual releases for the modernization of the BI platform and the publication and communication of “Release Notes”.
• Participation in the creation of uniform, standardized IT solutions and support in international rollout.
• Support for the annual cost planning process for the BI platforms (cost, resource and quantity planning).
• Creation and development of the central knowledge documentation.

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies of (economic) informatics or a comparable qualification.
• First experience in business intelligence or artificial intelligence.
• Basic knowledge of the technical operation of a Data Warehouse SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA.
• Basic knowledge in a programming language such as SQL and ABAP.
• Technical affinity.
• Communication strength and joy in team work.
• Good knowledge of German and English.
