The area of responsibility includes:

• Decision to avoid the risk of child welfare and independent introduction of risk prevention measures and cooperation with the family and the guardianship court
• Examination and initiation of appropriate measures to be taken after an inobligation
• Quality assurance as part of the processing of reports on child welfare and measures to prevent danger
• Networking and participation in working groups

Preparation for an application is:

A completed study of the degree program Social Work B.A. or the Diplom-Social Pedagogy/ Diplom-Social Work (FH) with state recognition, alternatively a comparable degree of study (e.g. educational sciences) at Bachelor level with significant social pedagogical study contents or a degree of psychology at Bachelor level with a focus on pedagogical psychology. Alternatively, a Bachelor degree of Psychology degree with a focus on clinical psychology plus two years of professional experience in youth assistance is assumed.
